Weekend Baylor Program RN's/LPN's ($10,000 sign on bonus)

Join the The Manor At Blue Water Bay and receive a $10,000 sign‑on bonus (if you accept a full‑time shift). The Manor is the only locally owned, long‑term care facility in the area. We are hiring Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide high‑quality care to our residents using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.

Position:
Weekend Baylor Plan Position

• 32 hours worked each week, including two 16‑hour weekend shifts
• Weekend periods run from the second shift on Friday to the third shift on Sunday
• RNs and LPNs are paid for the full 32 hours per week (paid for 40 hours)

• Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of residents
• Assess patients’ conditions, chart observations, and perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review
• Administer medication as prescribed by the physician
• Educate patients and families on proper home health care strategies and recommend tools that improve quality of life
• Communicate effectively with patients/clients, families, team members, and other health professionals
• Document and keep records in the prescribed manner
• Detect changes in patient behavior and respond appropriately, using written, telephone, and in‑person communication
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and PCAs
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing program
• Current state license as an RN and/or LPN
• Proof of current CPR certification
• Compassionate, friendly demeanor
• Excellent communication skills
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
