Sentara Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) in the clinical setting. The LPN must be detail‑oriented, compassionate, and able to handle physically demanding tasks. In this role the LPN is an essential member of the healthcare team, supporting higher‑level nurses and physicians in delivering comprehensive medical services.

• Provide direct patient care under RN or LIP supervision in accordance with state Board of Nursing scope of practice.
• Administer medications, perform testing, and implement nursing interventions and care plans.
• Advocate for patients, preventing illness or disease and supporting a holistic approach to patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, NP, PA, and other licensed independent practitioners in a multi‑disciplinary team.

• Education – HS Diploma required.
• Certification/Licensure – Valid LPN license in state(s) of practice required;
  Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
• Experience – None required.
