Wound Care - Nurse Practitioner, RN MD

MCare Agency is seeking Physicians (MD/DO), Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs), and Registered Nurses (RNs) with wound care experience to join our growing team in Houston, Texas! We offer PRN, Part-time, and Full-time positions with flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.

We are looking for passionate healthcare professionals who want to deliver high-quality wound care services directly in patients homes.

Title: Wound Care Provider (MD / FNP / RN)

Pay Range:

MD/DO: $175 - $200 per hour

FNP: $150 per hour

RN: $70 -$100 per hour (depending on experience)

Location: Houston, Texas

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule Options: PRN, Part-time, or Full-time (Flexible)

Responsibilities:

Perform in-home patient visits for wound care management

Conduct comprehensive wound assessments

Perform wound cleaning, debridement, and dressing changes

Apply advanced wound care techniques, including negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT)

Manage skin grafts and other minor wound procedures (as credentialed)

Develop and update individualized patient care plans

Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management and prevention

Accurately document patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR)

Collaborate with the broader care team and referring providers as needed

Qualifications:

For MDs/DOs: Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas

For FNPs: Active Texas Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority preferred

For RNs: Active Texas RN license;
Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCN, or similar) strongly preferred

Wound care experience (minimum 6 months preferred)

Ability to work independently and manage a mobile/home-based caseload

Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Reliable transportation

Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred for MDs/FNPs)
