Overview
Remote Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager role s listing includes important notices about hiring scams and how we contact candidates. Pharma Cord is a provider of pharmaceutical patient support services and employs nurses, case managers, pharmacists, and other health care professionals.
Responsibilities- Serve as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of program services, identifying barriers to therapy and helping the patient understand and navigate them.
- Educate patients with knowledge and practical experience about clinical treatments and the emotional and financial implications of a new diagnosis or chronic condition.
- Play an active role with each patient from enrollment through treatment to facilitate a timely and successful patient experience.
- Assist with the following responsibilities: enable patients by providing information and education about prescribed therapy, proper administration and dosing, and coordinating with insurance payers to determine coverage and potential out-of-pocket costs.
- Support patients in managing stress related to diagnosis and triage for non-program needs such as social or other intervention programs.
- Report Adverse Events/Product Complaints in accordance with SOP and good manufacturing practices.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Must have active RN licensure in the current state of practice.
- 2-3 years of nursing experience with relevant disease state experience preferred.
- Experience with Nurseline triage, Call Center Utilization Management, and Call Center Case Management is a plus.
- Case management or Clinical Trial Nurse experience is a plus.
- Bachelor s degree preferred.
- Remote work eligibility is subject to meeting all work-from-home criteria and business need.
- Regularly requires talking or hearing; prolonged sitting; typing and use of hands; ability to type 35 WPM with 97% accuracy.
- Available for inbound calls as part of the role and outbound calls as necessary.
- Flexibility to travel is preferred (very minimal).
- Rotating schedule between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Monday–Friday.
- Office environment with standard equipment; occasional travel or on-site requirements as needed.
- Minimum 6 months in role or client-facing role before consideration for lateral or promotion moves; exceptions reviewed based on business need and impact.
