Position Summary:
The Medical Management Specialist will deliver virtual client care in the management and treatment of complications following laser hair removal. Educate clients, conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with clinic providers and field team members. Uphold high standards of care and contribute to data monitoring, documentation, and licensing processes across multiple states.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care & Support: Assess treatment responses and determine next steps for clinic follow-up. Educate clients on the laser hair removal process and provide pre- and post-treatment care recommendations. Deliver virtual client care via phone and video conferencing. Follow standardized treatment and complication management protocols.
- Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with clinic providers, Medical Directors, and fellow Medical Management Specialists to support patient outcomes. Participate in team and headquarters meetings. Maintain timely, accurate, and clear medical documentation in the patient record.
- Regulatory & Licensing Compliance: Enter into written collaborative agreements with Milan physician(s) in accordance with state laws and company policy. Work with the licensing team to obtain and maintain licensure across multiple states.
- Data Monitoring & Administrative Support: Monitor and analyze treatment data metrics to inform patient care. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) program required
- Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, compact multi-state license, or temporary permit while awaiting licensure required
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure required
- Active national certification in family medicine from AANP or ANCC required
- Minimum of one year of experience as a nurse practitioner required
