Sentara Health is hiring a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for our 2 South Stroke/Telemetry unit located at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA.
Location & Shift- City/State:
Suffolk, VA - Work Shift:
First (Days) 7A to 7P with rotating weekend schedule
Lead clinical nursing within the Stroke/Telemetry unit, provide leadership for nursing care delivery, support staff development, improve workflow, ensure clinical safety and quality, and promote excellent patient/customer service.
Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred. - Licensure:
Registered Nursing license required; BLS and ACLS certifications required within 90 days of hire;
Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred. - Experience:
18 months acute care RN experience required; previous healthcare experience required; experience in stroke and telemetry care preferred; charge nurse experience preferred.
