- Role and responsibilities: You’ll monitor stability and evolving conditions of moderately to high-acuity patients transitioning from the ICU or requiring close observation after procedures. You’ll manage telemetry, administer medications, perform assessments, interpret lab results, escalate changes in status promptly, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize discharge planning and care transitions. You’ll educate patients and families, advocate for comfort and safety, and uphold evidence-based practices in a fast-paced environment that rewards precision and empathy.
