Overview
Board certified Family & Adult Nurse Practitioners (NP) needed as 1099 independent contractors to perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans to assist with their VA Benefits Claims. Great supplemental income opportunity. Pay $400–$800+/day.
Flexible Part Time OpportunityDesign your own schedule (7 days a week, weekends encouraged). Availability of at least 4–5 days a month is preferred.
Requirements- Two years+ NP experience (some prior VA work is ideal).
- Computer‑savvy and able to work on own personal laptop.
- Experience with, or a willingness to become familiar with, an agoniometer (daily use expected while performing exams; instrument provided).
Complete a thorough review of digital medical records, conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims, and submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim. All exams will take place at an approved facility with proper equipment and internet access provided.
