Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Valley Vets (Kilmarnock, Scotland)
Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 dependant on experience + benefits
Hours: Open to full time or part time
Contract: Permanent

In this role, you will:- Provide high-quality nursing care to a variety of patients
- Assist our Vets during surgical and medical procedures
- Monitor and support the recovery of patients post-surgery
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Mentor and support your peers
- Contribute to the efficient running of the practice, including inventory management and client communication
- Support and run nursing clinics
- Must be RCVS registered or equivalent
- A passion for animal care and welfare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills

We are a forward‑thinking and busy practice who pride ourselves in delivering the highest level of veterinary care for our loyal clients and their pets. We have a purpose‑built RCVS accredited main surgery, which is extremely well‑equipped to allow case workups to a high standard and an SVN training practice. There are 20 of us here: 6 Vets, 5 RVNs and our amazing support staff.
Salary:Up to £27,000 to £32,000 depending on experience plus benefits.
