We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to provide telemedicine services for Brown County, Wisconsin. This role offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful psychiatric care while practicing at the top of your license—completely remotely.
Position OverviewThe Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing mental health conditions within the correctional population. The ideal candidate is a confident, independent provider with strong clinical judgment and a patient-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with correctional and healthcare team members
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility-specific protocols
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner
- Active, unrestricted Wisconsin Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license (required)
- Experience in psychiatric care; correctional experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently in a structured, secure environment
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- On-Site
- 40 hours per week
