• Deliver course content and assessments using the employer’s current materials while connecting course concepts to real-world applications
• Maintain an engaged classroom presence and respond promptly to student inquiries to foster academic success
• Provide additional support such as coaching and tutoring, and oversee student clinical/practicum experiences as required
• Attend faculty meetings and university events to stay updated on course and instructional standards
• Maintain current professional knowledge in the content area through various means, including professional development and networking

• Doctorate of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, PhD in Nursing, or Medical Physician degree with women’s health practice experience
• Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), with at least 2 years within the last 5 years
• Active unencumbered or unrestricted Registered Arizona Nurse or Multistate (RN) license
• Arizona Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in the state of residence and/or practice
• National Certification as a Family or Women's Health Care or OBGYN Nurse Practitioner, or Nurse Midwife

• Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory
• High level of problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Technology proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to convey a professional image and represent the employer appropriately within the community
