We are looking for Bilingual (French and English) Registered Nurses to provide telehealth triage and health information to patients across Ontario. This is a virtual position; you will practice from your home and provide high-quality assessment, comfort, and care to patients through phone and other virtual channels. - Perform duties consistent with Registered Nursing practice, using a patient‑centered, compassionate, and empathetic approach.
- Exercise clinical judgment combined with protocols to arrive at appropriate disposition and provide timely, accurate care to patients.
- Promptly complete confidential medical records as per documentation standards.
- Use decision‑support software to guide clinical decisions and apply own judgment to make final recommendations through virtual channels such as phone or computer.
- Communicate professionally and provide clear, concise information and directions to patients and all members of the healthcare team.
- Participate in and complete ongoing training and continuous quality improvement projects as required.
- Registered Nurse in good standing with the CNO.
- Bilingual (French and English) with fluent oral and written skills.
- Must reside in Ontario.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in triage and/or clinical areas such as ER, mental health/psychiatry, behavioral health, ICU, or acute care.
- Strong listening and assessment skills; ability to ask good questions, remain empathetic and calm, and communicate respectfully with a diverse patient population.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, computer, and software skills required.
- Ability to self‑direct and self‑organize; accurate record‑keeping mandatory.
- Ability to work shift work including evening, overnight, and weekend hours.
- Scheduling: variety of rotation options (full‑time, shift length); rotation repeats for predictability.
- Ability to trade shifts with or give away to peers.
- Work independently and as part of a team; excellent verbal and written skills required.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Well‑developed interpersonal and customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients.
- Effective problem‑solving and conflict management skills.
- Physically demanding: hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, standing, sitting, and frequent movement.
