Join our team! At Clinique DRO, we specialize in Bio identical hormone replacement (BHRT) and are committed to improving our patients' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain patient files, encounter information, clinical data, and other information in a careful and confidential manner via EMR software.
- Answer inquiries in a helpful, respectful and efficient manner.
- Review and process faxes electronically, including patient referrals.
- Examine the health of patients to help make proper diagnoses of clinical conditions and prescribe medication, treatments, and/or follow‑up care as required.
- Educate, advise, and empower patients on preventive healthcare and disease prevention.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals.
- Stay up to date with medical advancements to provide high‑quality care.
- Perform all other related clinical, administrative or special tasks as needed.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical and critical thinking.
- Maintain a high regard for confidentiality and patient advocacy.
- Be a self‑motivated individual able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Proficient with computers, including internet use, electronic medical record systems, and other relevant software.
- Contribute to a culture of problem‑solving, collaboration, and excellence.
- Demonstrate strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, compassion and patience.
- Be able to multi‑task and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in both English and French is required.
- Successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Completed a master’s degree in Practical Nursing.
- Successfully completed the Canadian Nurse Practitioner Examination.
- Currently registered and in good standing with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB).
- Completed a Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) training program, including a two‑weekend conference.
The Nurse Practitioner’s weekly hours are flexible, with the option of part‑time or full‑time schedules based on preference. The role offers autonomy to determine one’s own schedule and includes occasional remote work. The clinic operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, closed Fridays, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. Our clinic is located at 2-50e Avenue, Edmundston, NB.
