Bayshore Health Care seeks dedicated Nurse Practitioners for its Northern Staffing program, aiming to deliver high-quality care in remote areas, from Ontario to Nunavut. Engage with Indigenous communities, offering primary and emergency care across varying age groups in a clinic atmosphere. This position allows you to grow your clinical expertise while exploring the beauty of Canada’s north with assignment lengths around four weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver primary and emergency services to community members

• Utilize nursing assessment and care planning throughout practice

• Support health promotion, safety, and comfort for clients

• Perform health teaching and counseling aligned with care plans

• Implement infection prevention and control measures

Requirements:

• Accredited nursing degree with an active license

• Experience in community health settings preferred

• Compliance with continued education and training

• Willingness to travel across provincial and territorial boundaries

• Respect for the diverse values and practices of Indigenous cultures
