About this jobThis is an exciting opportunity for an organized and motivated individual to join our outpatient clinic coordinator team within the GI Surgery and Physiology department. The department is the specialist centre for the South West of England for a number of conditions and often receives referrals from other hospitals. These could be for conditions such as IBS, hernias, pelvic floor dysfunction and acid reflux, amongst other things.
The administration team is based at the Bristol Royal Infirmary site and the post holder will not be required to work from other trust locations. This role is Monday
- Friday with flexible working opportunities available, such as a hybrid working from home schedule and flexible start times of between 8-9am.
Due to high volumes of applications this vacancy may close early. Working as part of a dynamic team in a busy environment, you will draw on your experience and skills to effectively communicate with patients, clinicians and peers to support the effective management of outpatient clinic appointments.
The role will include processing referrals, booking appointments, answering queries from patients and other healthcare professionals, and tracking waiting times. The successful applicant will be forward thinking, highly motivated and patient focussed, with demonstrable organisational skills.
