Please note:

The successful applicant will be required to spend the majority of the first 8-12 weeks training within the Telemedical Hub in Leamington. Candidates must live within a 60‑minute commute to the hub (CV34 6RQ
).

We are looking for Registered Adult Nurses (Level
1) or Midwives who are passionate about reproductive healthcare and dedicated to providing great client care. Remote work from home with monthly visits to the Leamington Telemedical Hub will be required.

Main duties of the job
  • Obtain a full medical history including assessment of gestation from LMP and identify clinical factors that may place the client at risk.
  • Confirm the client’s decision to request a termination and ensure compliance with the Abortion Act.
  • Discuss and confirm treatment options with the client where applicable.
  • Appropriately complete the client’s consent for treatment.
  • Discuss, inform, confirm and consent on the client’s future choice of contraception, and provide information regarding access when relevant.
About you

You will be a registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or registered Midwife (practising) with a valid NMC PIN and at least 12 months clinical practice experience. A competent IT user who is adaptable and self‑motivated is essential. You must have sound communication and listening skills and be able to problem‑solve confidently.

Working independently, you will deliver the client’s journey of care with empathy and understanding, using your clinical knowledge to provide a clear understanding of the services that BPAS offers.

Location and Salary

Home based with visits to the Leamington Telemedical Hub monthly after the initial 8‑12 weeks of training.

Salary: £39,959 – £46,656 pro‑rata per annum, depending on skills and experience. Saturday shifts are paid at time and a half.

Qualifications
  • Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 / Registered Midwife (practising)
  • Active NMC registration and valid PIN
Experience
  • Clinical practice experience (at least 12 months)
  • Client documentation completion
  • Working to clinical guidelines, policies & procedures
  • Telephone communication in a clinical capacity
  • Gynecological nursing experience or relevant specialty (e.g., sexual health, contraception)
Knowledge and Skills
  • IT skills – ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and Teams
  • Understanding of clinical risk and incident reporting
  • Basic understanding of Abortion Care
  • Contraception and Sexual Health knowledge
Additional Eligibility
  • Support a woman's right to choose abortion
  • No visa sponsorship available; legal right to work in the UK required
  • Provide professional body membership details (e.g., NMC Midwives)
  • Confirm registration number and expiry/renewal date
  • Commit to 30 hours per week over Monday‑Saturday
  • Live within a 60‑minute commute of the Leamington hub – provide postcode
