Position: Nurse in Charge for Remote Communities
Lead community health nursing in Alberta as a Nurse in Charge. Deliver essential nursing services while working in isolated First Nations communities.

This full-time role requires a Registered Nurse with leadership experience, community health expertise, and advanced clinical skills. Candidates will utilize their judgment and nursing knowledge to facilitate health education, promote wellness, and prevent disease within diverse populations. A focus on public health nursing and collaboration is crucial to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing services in First Nations communities

• Provide clinical consultation and leadership to nursing teams

• Facilitate health promotion and community education initiatives

• Perform mandatory on-call duties and after-hours care

• Support knowledge transfer through training workshops

Requirements:

• Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in Alberta

• Minimum of two years in leadership roles within nursing

• Experience in public health nursing within the last five years

• Strong written communication skills

• Willingness to travel by small aircraft and work in varied conditions
