Remote Injection Nurse at Rx Connect

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Take on a pivotal role at Rx Connect as a Remote Injection/Infusion Nurse, focusing on patient-centered healthcare while delivering medications in home settings. Emphasizing education and communication, this position will enhance patient outcomes.

In this role, you will administer various medications, monitor patient responses, and provide detailed education based on protocols. Collaborating with healthcare teams will be essential, ensuring seamless patient service and timely therapy access.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer injections and infusions in home and clinic environments

• Track and document patient outcomes as per program guidelines

• Educate patients about medications through workshops and individual sessions

• Coordinate daily schedules with medical professionals and case managers

• Assist in the transfer and dispensing of prescriptions

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Registered Practical Nurse license

• Minimum 3 years in nursing preferred

• CPR certification and knowledge of relevant protocols

• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability

• Proficient in communication and Microsoft Office tools
