Job Description & How to Apply Below

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the citywide Dermatology Outpatients Department. You will work within busy dermatology services across Glasgow Royal Infirmary (GRI) and Stobhill Ambulatory Care Hospital (ACH), providing high-quality, person-centred care for patients with a wide range of dermatological conditions.

You will work closely with the nursing and multidisciplinary team within both consultant-led and nurse-led clinics. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse wishing to develop specialist knowledge and skills within dermatology. While previous dermatology experience is desirable, full training and development will be provided to the successful candidate.

All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

You will also be involved in delivering phototherapy treatments, topical treatments and patch testing, as well as assisting during dermatological surgical sessions. Working collaboratively with the wider nursing and multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to ensuring a high standard of care is provided across both consultant-led and nurse-led services.

The role requires a commitment to delivering safe, effective and person-centred care while supporting patients throughout their dermatology treatment journey.
