This position offers 2 to 6-week assignments across remote communities in BC, AB, MB, ON, and Nunavut. As a Community Health Nurse, you will engage in primary and emergency care, applying best practices to enhance the health outcomes of diverse populations. Your nursing expertise will be essential in carrying out health assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care from newborns to elders

• Conduct assessments and promote health in community settings

• Implement best practice clinical guidelines in care delivery

• Support emotional and physical safety of clients

• Work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment

Requirements:

• Degree in Nursing with valid provincial licensing

• 3,000+ hours of recent acute care nursing experience

• Preferred experience in remote or community health nursing

• Skillset in health promotion and client assessments

• Commitment to obtaining nursing licenses in required territories
