Position: Staff Nurse (peritoneal dialysis)

We are seeking passionate Staff Nurses (peritoneal dialysis) to join our nursing team and embark on an exciting renal career specialising in dialysis care. The role requires maintaining high standards of patient care and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of dialysis therapy as prescribed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective home- and centre-based peritoneal dialysis (PD) care and support throughout the patient's PD journey.
  • Conduct home assessments and provide appropriate nursing interventions to support patients and families in managing PD safely at home.
  • Provide outpatient PD services including PD training, catheter care, PD assessments, complication management and regular patient reviews.
  • Collaborate with hospitals' doctors, nurses and other stakeholders in the management and continuity of care for PD patients.
  • Assist the Nursing Manager in the clinical and daily operations of the PD Community Support Programme.
  • Maintain accurate nursing records and programme databases, and participate in quality improvement, research and PD-related activities.
  • Participate in patient education, talks, seminars and public outreach activities to promote PD.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (mandatory).
  • Prior peritoneal dialysis (PD) experience is preferred; candidates with renal nursing experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work 5 days per week (Office Hours), with working hours based on patient cases and home visit requirements, including home evening visits of up to 2-3 times per week, with visits ending by 9.00pm.
  • Willingness to travel to assigned hospitals and patients' homes for home-based PD care.
