Neonatal Nurse; Band 6

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Neonatal Nurse to join our team at Band 6 level. Applicants must hold current first-level NMC registration and have recent experience working within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

This post is fixed term for 9 months and consideration will be given to full-time or part-time working - this can be discussed at interview.

Completion of the Neonatal Nurse Quality in Specialty (QIS) qualification is essential for this post.

The successful candidate will be a committed and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills. You will demonstrate a strong passion for delivering high-quality, family-integrated care within our Neonatal Unit, placing babies and their families at the centre of all you do.

We are looking for an individual who is motivated to drive positive change within care pathways, ensuring the best possible outcomes and start in life for babies and their families. You will bring enthusiasm for improving health and wellbeing, a willingness to embrace and lead change, and resilience when working with complex family situations.

Strong leadership skills are essential to support effective service delivery and maintain high standards of care across the unit. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly in line with the needs of the Neonatal Service and Family and Support services Directorate.
