About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Community Health Nurse to lead remote health initiatives and outreach programs, serving the Klerksdorp region and surrounding areas. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing health education strategies, coordinating mobile clinic services, and providing advanced nursing care directly within underserved communities. You will be instrumental in improving health outcomes, promoting preventative care, and managing chronic conditions through innovative, remote-first approaches.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive community health programs and outreach strategies.
• Provide advanced nursing care, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and management of common health conditions.
• Conduct health screenings, immunizations, and wellness education sessions for diverse community groups.
• Coordinate and manage mobile health clinics, ensuring efficient resource allocation and service delivery.
• Train and supervise junior community health workers and nurses involved in remote outreach.
• Collaborate with local health authorities, NGOs, and community leaders to address public health challenges.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialization in Community Health Nursing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in community health or public health nursing.
• Proven experience in program development, management, and evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of public health principles, epidemiology, and preventative care strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and digital health record systems is essential.
