Nurse Team Leader - Community Mental Health Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Nurse Team Leader to lead the nursing team within Renfrewshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide professional leadership, support service development and ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care for children, young people and their families.

• Full-time, Permanent
• You will be based at the Aranthure Centre
• Working Pattern:
  Monday - Friday

• Provide clinical leadership and management to the nursing team within Renfrewshire CAMHS
• Ensure the safe and effective deployment of nursing resources to deliver high-quality patient care
• Lead on risk assessment, risk management and the implementation of complex programmes of care
• Undertake caseload management and provide line management, supervision and support to nursing staff
• Lead profession-specific clinical governance activities including care assurance, professional standards and staff governance
• Monitor nursing activity and performance against service objectives and key performance indicators
• Support service development, quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary working to improve outcomes for children, young people and families

• First level Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse with current NMC registration
• Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Significant post-registration experience including experience within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
• Specialist knowledge of mental health assessment, risk management and recovery-focused approaches to care
• Proven leadership, supervisory and staff management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health care
