Clinical Nurse Specialist - Paediatric ENT

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHS GGC) are looking to appoint a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Band 6, within Paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) at the Royal Hospital for Children. This post will form an integral part of the Paediatric ENT service, working as part of a diverse team to provide care to children and young people with ENT conditions. You will provide specialist nursing advice and support to in-patients, out-patients and their families from the time of diagnosis throughout the care pathway.

All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

• This is a permanent post
• You will be working full-time hours (36) over Monday to Friday
• You will be based at Royal Hospital for Children Glasgow

You will work as an integral member of the Paediatric ENT service, providing specialist nursing advice, support and care to children and young people with ENT conditions. They will support patients and their families across in-patient and out-patient settings, providing specialist nursing input from diagnosis throughout the patient's care pathway and working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of children, young people and their families.

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Specialist knowledge and experience within Paediatric Nursing and/or Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT).
• Experience of providing specialist nursing advice and support to children and young people and their families.
• Knowledge of the care pathway for children and young people with ENT conditions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to provide specialist nursing advice across both in-patient and out-patient settings.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and maintaining specialist knowledge.
