Pediatric Nurse

Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Home Nurse to provide specialized care for children within their homes in Nelspruit . This vital role involves delivering high-quality nursing services, managing chronic conditions, and supporting the overall well-being of young patients. You will work closely with families, physicians, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and improve the quality of life for children requiring home-based medical support.

This position offers a chance to build strong relationships with families and provide dedicated, personalized care in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga .

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients' conditions regularly, reporting changes promptly.
• Provide wound care, respiratory support, and other specialized nursing interventions.
• Educate families on managing their child's condition, medications, and care routines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing.
• Experience with home healthcare or in a pediatric critical care setting is preferred.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with families.
