Oncology Abstractor Registered Nurse - REMOTE

We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Oncology Registered Nurse to join a remote clinical team focused on electronic medical record review and oncology chart abstraction.

Pay: $40/hour | Full-Time | Remote | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

WhatYou'll Do
- Review and abstract clinical information from electronic medical records (EMRs/EHRs).
- Analyze oncology documentation and accurately identify key clinical data.
- Enter abstracted information into designated electronic data capture tools.
- Navigate multiple EHR databases and clinical systems efficiently.
- Perform quality and accuracy checks to ensure reliable clinical data.
- Meet established productivity and project deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
- Collaborate with clinical and project teams through Microsoft Teams and other digital platforms.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, privacy, and patient confidentiality requirements.
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Professional oncology nursing experience.
- Previous electronic medical chart abstraction experience.
- Strong EHR/EMR navigation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams.
- Reliable high-speed internet access.
Preferred:
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
- Oncology-specific chart abstraction experience.
- Clinical research, academic, pharmaceutical, or healthcare data experience.
- Experience with clinical data analysis or electronic data capture platforms.
