Charity Comfort Care Services, LLC is looking for a dependable, knowledgeable, and compassionate Alternate Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our growing home health team!

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN, Clinical Manager, or former Director of Nursing who wants to remain involved in clinical leadership while enjoying the flexibility of a primarily remote, PRN backup position.

• Hybrid/Remote Flexibility:
  Perform most administrative and clinical oversight duties remotely.

  Provide support when our Director of Nursing is unavailable or additional coverage is needed.

As our Alternate Director of Nursing, you'll be a trusted clinical leader supporting our Director of Nursing and clinical team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide backup clinical leadership and nursing supervision as assigned.
• Review OASIS assessments, Plans of Care (CMS-485), and clinical documentation.
• Monitor patient records and physician orders through Axxess Home Health.
• Assist with Medicare, ACHC, and Texas HHSC regulatory compliance.
• Participate in virtual meetings, case conferences, and occasional conference calls.
• Support quality assurance, chart audits, and QAPI activities.
• Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff.
• Assist with survey readiness and occasional on-site clinical oversight.

• Active, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Home health nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently and respond promptly during assigned backup periods.
• Ability to provide occasional on-site coverage in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
• Must meet applicable qualifications for designated alternate clinical leadership.

• Previous DON, ADON, or Clinical Manager experience.
• Experience using Axxess Home Health software.
• Knowledge of OASIS, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and Texas HHSC regulations.
• Experience with ACHC surveys, clinical audits, and compliance.

• Position: PRN / As-Needed Backup
• Work Arrangement:
  Primarily Remote / Occasional On-Site
• Schedule:
  
  Flexible, with mutually agreed backup coverage periods
• Proposed Compensation:
• Remote clinical work:
  Starting at $45/hour
• Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities. All compensable work will be paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour requirements.
