Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Salary: $140,000–$165,000 annually (based outpatient psychiatric experience, autonomous practice status, and demonstrated clinical proficiency)

Neuropsychiatric & Counseling Associates is an established outpatient psychiatric practice seeking a compassionate, experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team. This is a full-time, in-person position designed for a provider who values practicing thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatry while maintaining a manageable patient schedule and excellent work-life balance.

Our practice prioritizes quality of care over high patient volume. Providers are supported with structured scheduling, dedicated administrative time, and an experienced clinical team, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional psychiatric care.

We are seeking a provider who:

• Has experience providing outpatient psychiatric medication management.
• Is comfortable practicing independently while collaborating with colleagues as needed.
• Values building long-term therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Appreciates a structured outpatient schedule with dedicated administrative time.

Experienced providers are strongly preferred. New graduates will only be considered if they have significant prior psychiatric RN experience and clearly demonstrate readiness to independently manage an outpatient psychiatric caseload.

This is a full-time, in-person W-2 position. The compensation package reflects current market rates for experienced outpatient PMHNPs in the Richmond area and includes comprehensive benefits and a structured schedule designed to promote provider longevity and work-life balance.
