Karing Hearts Home Health is looking for a compassionate and skilled Per Diem RN to join our Home Infusion team in Los Angeles, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered infusion therapy in the comfort of patients' homes. Responsibilities:- Administer IV infusion therapies including IVIG, antibiotics, TPN, chemotherapy, hydration, and other specialty medications in the home setting
- Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor responses to infusion treatments
- Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral and central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, central lines)
- Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and safety protocols
- Accurately document patient care, clinical findings, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the care team to coordinate and adjust patient treatment plans
- Respond to patient concerns and on-call needs as required per diem schedule
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1-2 years of IV infusion or home health nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency with peripheral IV insertion, including PICC lines, central lines, and implanted ports
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license with proof of insurance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home care environment
- CPR/BLS certification required
