Job Description & How to Apply Below
Norfolk | £50,000 - £55,000 | Hybrid Working | Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced Paediatric Nurse or Complex Care Nurse looking for your next step into clinical leadership?
Would you like to move away from long shifts, enjoy a better work-life balance and take ownership of a manageable community caseload?
We are recruiting for a Paediatric Clinical Lead to join an established, nurse-led complex care provider in Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RSCN or RGN who enjoys delivering high-quality clinical care but is looking for greater autonomy, professional development and the opportunity to make a real difference outside of a hospital environment.
You will oversee approximately 10 complex care packages across Norfolk, supporting children, young people and adults with complex healthcare needs in their own homes.
You do not necessarily need to be working as a Clinical Lead already. We would welcome applications from experienced community nurses, paediatric nurses and senior complex care nurses who have the clinical knowledge and confidence to take the next step.
What Is on Offer?
£50,000 - £55,000 salary, depending on experience
Monday to Friday working, offering a better work-life balance
Hybrid working with flexibility to work from home around clinical commitments
45p per mile for business travel
Manageable caseload of approximately 10 care packages
Autonomy to manage your own diary and organise your working week
Company laptop and mobile phone
Ongoing training, CPD and professional development
Supportive clinical leadership team with established operational support
Opportunity to progress within a growing specialist complex care provider
The Role As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you will play an important role in ensuring children, young people and adults with complex healthcare needs receive safe, personalised care in their own homes.
Working closely with families, care teams and healthcare professionals, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical standards, supporting frontline staff and ensuring care packages run safely and effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a caseload of approximately 10 community complex care packages, including 4 paediatric packages
Completing clinical assessments, care plans, risk assessments and regular care reviews
Providing clinical support, guidance and supervision to Nurses and Healthcare Assistants
Delivering practical training and assessing clinical competencies
Supporting individuals with complex needs, including tracheostomies, ventilation, enteral feeding and epilepsy
Working closely with families, multidisciplinary teams, case managers and commissioners
Supporting the safe mobilisation of new care packages
Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, safeguarding and quality
What Are We Looking For?
We would love to hear from Nurses who have:
Active NMC registration as an RSCN or RGN
Experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs
A background in community complex care, paediatric nursing, homecare or another relevant clinical setting
Knowledge of complex clinical interventions such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, enteral feeding or epilepsy management
Confidence completing assessments, developing care plans and supporting other clinical staff
Good communication skills and a compassionate, person-centred approach
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Norfolk
Previous Clinical Lead experience is desirable but not essential. If you are an experienced Paediatric Nurse, Community Nurse, Senior Nurse or Complex Care Nurse looking to progress into management, we would welcome your application.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
This is an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a senior clinical position without managing an excessive caseload or working traditional hospital shifts.
You will have the flexibility to organise your working week, build meaningful relationships with the individuals and families you support, and play a key role in developing high-quality community care services.
With an established leadership team behind you and opportunities for professional development, this position offers both stability and career progression.
Interested?
If you are an experienced Paediatric Nurse or Complex Care Nurse looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
