Remote Nurse Practitioner

Location: Remote – New York State.
Employment Type: Part-Time, W-2.
Compensation: $25 per completed clearance review.
Schedule: Flexible, self-managed availability.

Photon Medical Group is seeking New York State-licensed Nurse Practitioners to conduct remote pre-employment health clearances through our Clear To Start  platform.

As the program expands, we are particularly interested in multistate-licensed NPs, especially those licensed in New York, New Jersey, and California
, who may qualify for additional opportunities as services expand.

Providers manage their own availability through our EMR, allowing patients to schedule appointments within their selected time blocks.

Position Highlights

• 100% remote telemedicine work
• $25 per completed clearance review
• Flexible scheduling with no on-call requirements
• Clearances typically take 10–15 minutes, including consultation, records review, and documentation
• Administrative and scheduling support provided

• Conduct brief telemedicine evaluations for pre-employment medical clearances.
• Review medical histories, immunization records, TB testing, laboratory results, and other relevant documentation.
• Determine clearance eligibility or identify additional testing and follow-up requirements.
• Complete and sign appropriate medical clearance and fitness-for-duty forms.
• Perform asynchronous records reviews and document clinical findings in the EMR.

Required

• Active, unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current national NP certification.
• A collaborating or supervising physician is required unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
  Photon Medical Group does not provide a collaborating or supervising physician for this role. Candidates must have their own qualifying arrangement in place where required by state law.
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Reliable internet connection and private telemedicine workspace.

Preferred

• Active NP licenses in multiple states, particularly NY, NJ, and CA.
• Experience in occupational health, employee health, primary care, urgent care, or telemedicine.
• Familiarity with pre-employment clearances, immunizations, and TB screening.

• $25 per completed clearance
  , including telemedicine consultation, asynchronous records review, and documentation.
• Providers enter their availability directly into the EMR, and patients schedule within those designated blocks.
• Appointment volume and earnings vary based on patient demand; no minimum number of appointments is guaranteed.
