Sentara is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) at Sentara Norfolk General's Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in Norfolk, Virginia. Sign on Bonus up to $20,000 offered for qualified candidates. Relocation packages available! Shift: Full Time, Night shift (7p-7a) Unit Overview: 7N is a 16-bed IMC mixed unit. We provide highly skilled care to a variety of patients!

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices.

RN Degree REQUIRED

Certification/Licensure Virginia RN License REQUIRED

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 90-days of hire

Experience Prior RN experience PREFERRED

The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
