We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing behavioral health practice as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric and mental health care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently manage a full patient caseload.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
- Provide medication management and ongoing follow-up care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as clinically appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered mental health services.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state.
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Current DEA registration, where required.
- Experience in psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a full patient caseload independently, within applicable scope-of-practice requirements.
- Experience with telehealth and electronic health records preferred.
Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, full-time availability preferred.
Compensation:
Negotiable based on experience and patient volume.
Payment Structure:
To be discussed during the interview.
Start Date:
As soon as mutually agreed.
