North Carolina RN Operating Room Scheduler

To optimize surgical scheduling, the full-time North Carolina RN Operating Room Scheduler will manage daily OR schedules, collaborate with the perioperative team, and ensure efficient patient flow while working on-site for the first six months with potential for hybrid or remote work thereafter.

Key responsibilities:

Coordinate and build the OR schedule in collaboration with surgeons and nursing leaders Lead scheduling meetings and analyze the schedule for efficiency and productivity Complete necessary documentation and verify critical elements of OR case requests

Required qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited BSN program Current registration as a registered professional nurse in North Carolina or compact RN licensure Previous operating room experience is required, with 2+ years preferred BLS certification is required; professional specialty certification is preferred Knowledge of perioperative patient care and nursing processes
