Visiting Nurse Registered Practical Nurse

Deliver person-centred visiting nursing as a Registered Practical Nurse with autonomy, full-scope practice, and home-based client care. This permanent part-time role includes days, evenings, weekends, and on-call work.

VON Canada provides home and community care for clients across the lifespan. In this Visiting Nursing program, you will support children, youth, adults, seniors, and families through holistic care. Practice may occur in clients' homes, clinics, virtually, and through community outreach.

• Complete client assessments in home and community settings
• Provide primary care alongside healthcare professionals
• Administer medications and provide wound care
• Manage chronic disease care and education
• Deliver palliative and rehabilitative programs

• Hold Registered Practical Nurse licensure in the practice province
• Community health experience is an asset
• Hold a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Complete required criminal and vulnerable sector checks
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment
