Overview

Are you looking for a career, not just a job? Do you possess great customer service skills? Do you have outstanding work ethic? We are a part of the fastest growing dog training company in the country – Off Leash K9 Training, LLC. We are looking to add 3 trainers in the Sacramento area. This is a demanding and challenging profession.

We need someone that is highly driven to establish professional relationships and be successful.

Minimum job requirements
  • Must reside in or around the Sacramento area.
  • Must be able to board at least 1 dog at your residence for 14 days at a time. (no apartment/townhome rentals) Part time is 1 dog at a time, Full time is 2 dogs at a time.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a smartphone & computer.
  • Must have knowledge with Social Media (Facebook, You Tube, Instagram, etc.).
  • Must attend and complete a 17-day certification process at the OLK9 Training Facility in Fredericksburg VA. This school and certification is FREE; travel expenses are the applicant’s responsibility. A Sign-on Bonus of $2,000 is offered after 3 months of successful employment with zero negative counsels.
Day-to-day requirements
  • Handling and training small and large breeds from puppy to adult.
  • Working with dogs needing behavior modification from anxiety to aggression.
  • Interacting with the public in a professional manner.
  • Driving to appointments in the local area.
  • Continuing education and increasing skill in training, both dogs and humans.
  • Be self-motivated!
The ideal candidate must have
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, and a passion for dogs.
  • Computer skills with the ability to create dog training videos (this is easily learned via You Tube).
  • Ability to work during peak traffic periods during weekdays and weekends.
  • Customer service and communication skills are essential.
Pay
  • Pay is earned based on board-and-train programs completed that month and hourly lessons completed.
  • 500.00 per 7-day board and program
  • 1000.00 per 14-day board and train program
  • 1500.00 per 21-day board and train program
  • 30.00 per hour for private training lessons (completed at a local park near you)
  • 60.00 per hour for private in-home training lessons (you travel to clients’ homes)
  • The right person can easily earn $40-60K/year (or more) working from home with flexibility and a role you love.
