Off Leash K9 Dog Trainer

We are part of the fastest growing dog training company in the country, Off Leash K9 Training, LLC. We are looking to add 3 trainers in the Prescott, AZ area.

This is a demanding and challenging profession. We need someone highly driven to establish professional relationships and succeed.

* Minimum job requirements:

• Must reside in or near Prescott, AZ.
• Must be able to board at least 2 dogs at your residence for 14 days at a time. (No apartment or townhome rentals)
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a smartphone & computer.
• Must have knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, You Tube, Instagram, etc.)
• Must attend and complete a 17-day certification at the OLK9 Training Facility in Fredericksburg, VA. This certification is free; you are responsible for travel costs. Upon employment for 12 months, we will reimburse $1,000 of those travel expenses.

* Day-to-day requirements:

• Handling and training dogs of various breeds and ages.
• Working with dogs needing behavior modification, from anxiety to aggression.
• Interacting professionally with the public.
• Driving to appointments in the Prescott area.
• Continuing education to improve skills in dog and human training.
• Participating in PR events.
• Being self-motivated!

The ideal Dog Trainer candidate must have:

• A strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, and a passion for dogs.
• Computer skills, including creating dog training videos (easily learned via You Tube).
• Flexibility to work during peak traffic periods on weekdays and weekends.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

PAY:

• Pay is based on board and train programs completed each month and private lessons conducted.
• Starting pay is approximately:
• $500 for a 7-day board and train program
• $100 for a 14-day program
• $1,500 for a 21-day program
• $30/hour for private lessons at a local park
• $60/hour for in-home private lessons (travel to clients’ homes)

The right candidate can earn $40,000-$60,000 per year or more, working from home with flexibility and doing what they love!
