Veterinary Support Associate, CVT; Regional Remote

• Professionally manage communication from pet owners and veterinary professionals to support animal health and well‑being
• Assist with daily operations of Veterinary Support, providing information and services to callers
• Assess and triage cases of illnesses and injuries, referring to appropriate veterinary resources as needed
• Maintain accurate case records and document findings using electronic record databases
• Collaborate with management and external partners to address any arising issues

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• CVT license required in Illinois
• Understanding of medical terminology and basic animal anatomy
• Ability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls efficiently
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changes in a fast‑paced environment

• Experience in a veterinary practice or shelter
• Customer service or client relations experience
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Strong active listening skills and ability to establish rapport quickly with clients
• Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence and resilience in stressful situations
