Hands-On Nursery Worker - No Remote

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Take on an engaging role as a hands-on Nursery Worker where your gardening skills will shine. This position is entirely on-site, focusing on the cultivation and care of various plants.

With an experience requirement of one to two years, this physically demanding role involves greenhouse cleaning, weeding, and caring for plants, including trees and shrubs. You’ll be responsible for using mechanical equipment and ensuring plant health through proper maintenance and care. Reliability and attention to detail are key attributes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant, weed, and prune various types of plants

• Use mechanical tools for planting operations

• Monitor and report plant health and pest issues

• Clean and maintain greenhouse spaces

• Prepare soils and water plants regularly

Requirements:

• 1-2 years relevant gardening or nursery experience

• Ability to lift and handle weights up to 100 lbs

• Familiarity with plants and horticultural techniques

• Must wear steel-toed footwear

• Flexibility to work under various weather conditions
