Remote Veterinarian

The Opportunity

Vet Wise is expanding and seeking passionate Remote Veterinarians licensed in Alberta to join our growing network! As part of our network, you maintain control over your schedule. You may claim consultations based on your availability and professional preference. This role allows you to practice veterinary medicine in a flexible capacity while enhancing access to care for pet owners and alleviating the workload for hospitals.

• Provide virtual consultations for pet owners in Alberta and additional provinces where you hold licensure in accordance with applicable telemedicine regulations
• Collaborate with hospitals to support their patient needs
• Opportunity to provide care for exotics if desired

• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Unrestricted license to practice veterinary medicine in Alberta
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing veterinarian
• Strong client communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and critical thinking abilities
• Experience working with exotic species is considered an asset
• Preference will be given to candidates licensed in multiple provinces, including: AB, BC, ON, NB, NL, PE
