DutiesAs part of our dynamic team, you will greet guests, assist in daily cleaning, perform minor maintenance, and contribute to a safe aquatic environment and a quality visitor experience at Miette Hot Springs.
Work EnvironmentParks Canada protects Canada’s natural and cultural resources. Miette Hot Springs is situated about an hour from Jasper, offering a remote work experience with on‑site accommodations and limited internet service.
Intent of the ProcessThis inventory competition will staff positions for a variety of season lengths and tenures. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and qualified candidates may be used for future vacancies.

Essential Qualifications- Education:
Secondary school diploma or a Public Service Commission approved alternative. - Experience:
- Providing information and service to the public.
- Working in a team environment.
- Operating point-of-sale equipment, handling cash, and balancing daily sales.
- Abilities:
- Providing a quality visitor experience.
- Following established practices and adapting them to changing circumstances.
- Personal suitability:
- Connecting with others and working in a team.
- Exercising sound judgment.
- Taking initiative.
- Demonstrating integrity.
- Language requirements:
English essential or bilingual imperative (B/B). - Additional occupational certifications: valid driver’s license.
- Additional experience:
- Previous experience in a swimming pool or recreation facility.
- Previous experience in janitorial cleaning.
- Additional knowledge:
- Health and safety practices.
- Knowledge of Canadian Rockies Hot Springs facilities and surrounding areas.
- Operational requirements:
- Perform tasks including cleaning, snow removal, cash handling, pool and ground maintenance.
- Assist lifeguards with first aid and water rescues under reasonable physical stress.
- Obtain and maintain a reliability security clearance.
- Willingness to work overtime, shift‑work, weekends, statutory holidays, and provincial holidays.
- May be required to wear a uniform.
- Willingness to work and travel in various terrains and weather conditions.
