Revolutionize pet care as an In-Home Veterinarian with Heartstrings Pet Hospice in the Greater Toronto Area. Enjoy compassionate appointments with families, minimal red tape, and a focus on end-of-life care.
Join Heartstrings Pet Hospice to provide in-home euthanasia and hospice services. This unique position allows you to build connections with pet families while offering a dignified farewell to their beloved companions. You’ll work with just 3-4 appointments daily, ensuring quality care and emotional support in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for terminal pets
• Guide families in making compassionate end-of-life decisions
• Build relationships with local veterinary clinics for continuity of care
Requirements:
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• 1+ year of veterinary practice experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Experience with prolonged driving and various physical tasks
