Senior Ecologist (Highlands and Isles) – Inverness, Scottish Highlands and Isles

£40,000 to £50,000 + Progression + Training + Company Benefits + License Sponsorship.

We are a tight‑knit, well‑run consultancy supporting your licensing journey across various wildlife species. We have a pipeline of projects in the Highlands, Isles, Europe, and Africa.

• Taking site surveys and calculating biodiversity net gain (BNG).
• Travelling to local locations and staying overnight when required.
• Working from home to report findings.
• Traveling across the Scottish Isles for niche ecological surveys.

• Ecologist background.
• Local to Inverness or willing to relocate.

• Experience conducting species surveys.
• Knowledge of BNG calculations.
• Passion for wildlife and ecological knowledge.

• License sponsorship for many wildlife licences (Bats, Otters, Newts, Eagles, Badgers, etc.).
• Overseas project opportunities during winter months.
• Progression and training opportunities.
