Head of Farmer‑led Nature Recovery

37.5 per week (flexible working arrangements considered)

Based at:
Elm Tree Court, Devizes and Great Chalfield, with regular travel across Wiltshire, and some home working

Director of Nature Recovery

Help shape the future of farming and nature recovery. Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is looking for an ambitious, collaborative and inspiring leader to drive our pioneering programme of farmer‑led landscape‑scale nature recovery.

Working alongside the Director of Nature Recovery, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a portfolio that includes the Great Chalfield Learning Hub, Chalkland Revival, Western Forest and Project Peewit, driving partnerships, training and policy influence across the UK.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team of ecologists, ornithologists and advisers, collaborating with the Nature Recovery Leadership Team to grow impact, develop new opportunities and build partnerships that shape the future of nature recovery.

You’ll bring strategic leadership, credibility in farming, land management or conservation, and a passion for collaboration to deliver lasting change.
