As the Scientific Officer at the BC SPCA, you will lead impactful initiatives that advance social change for companion animals. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement companion animal welfare policies

• Engage in media relations as a subject matter expert

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in animal welfare science or related field

• Minimum eight years of relevant experience

• Strong project and program management skills

• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities

• Proven understanding of Canadian companion animal industries
