About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent Remote Sanitation Compliance Officer to join their expanding operations, specifically overseeing standards within the Richards Bay area. This unique role focuses on ensuring that all sanitation policies and procedures are met remotely, primarily through digital oversight, reporting, and remote audits. You will play a vital role in maintaining high hygiene standards across various client sites without being physically present on-site daily.
This position is ideal for an experienced professional who is adept at leveraging technology to monitor and enforce compliance, working autonomously from a remote location. Your expertise will be key in upholding the integrity of our client's sanitation protocols throughout Kwa Zulu-Natal.
- Develop and implement remote monitoring strategies for sanitation compliance across multiple locations.
- Analyze submitted reports, data, and visual evidence (photos/videos) from on-site personnel to assess compliance levels.
- Conduct virtual audits and inspections using established checklists and technological tools.
- Provide remote guidance and support to on-site teams regarding sanitation best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate reported sanitation issues or deviations, recommending corrective actions and tracking their implementation.
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior management, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sanitation management, quality assurance, or a related compliance role, preferably with remote oversight experience.
- Strong understanding of sanitation principles, hygiene standards, and relevant health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for data analysis, reporting, and remote communication (e.g., MS Office Suite, specialized compliance software).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
