About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and knowledgeable Remote Sanitation Specialist to remotely manage and enhance sanitation protocols across their various facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of hygiene standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices in sanitation management, all executable from a home office environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sanitation plans, training remote teams, conducting virtual audits, and ensuring consistent application of cleanliness standards nationwide.

• Develop, implement, and refine sanitation policies and procedures for all company locations.
• Conduct remote audits and inspections using video conferencing and photographic documentation to assess cleanliness standards.
• Create and deliver training materials and virtual workshops for on-site cleaning staff and management.
• Analyze sanitation data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to operational efficiency and hygiene outcomes.
• Stay current with relevant industry regulations, best practices, and emerging sanitation technologies.
• Liaise with facility managers and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of sanitation programs.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sanitation management or a related role, with a strong understanding of hygiene science.
• Proven ability to manage and implement programs remotely and effectively communicate with geographically dispersed teams.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance (e.g., HACCP, OSHA standards) and developing comprehensive sanitation plans.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools, data analysis software, and digital reporting methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities for virtual audiences.
