About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Pharmaceutical Formulation Scientist to join their research and development team on a fully remote basis. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and optimizing novel drug delivery systems and formulations. You will leverage your expertise to enhance the efficacy, stability, and patient compliance of pharmaceutical products. Key Responsibilities- Design and develop various pharmaceutical dosage forms (e.g., tablets, capsules, injectables, topicals).
- Conduct pre-formulation studies to understand drug substance properties and excipient compatibility.
- Optimize formulations to achieve desired release profiles, bioavailability, and stability.
- Perform characterization of drug products using relevant analytical techniques.
- Prepare development reports, protocols, and regulatory submission documents.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and advancements in drug delivery and formulation science.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development.
- Strong knowledge of drug delivery systems, dosage form design, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with analytical techniques used in formulation characterization (e.g., HPLC, dissolution testing).
- Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements related to formulation development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
