• Design, develop, and optimize novel pharmaceutical formulations for various dosage forms (e.g., oral solids, injectables, topical).
• Conduct pre-formulation studies, including physicochemical characterization of drug substances and excipients.
• Perform formulation screening, stability testing, and scale-up studies.
• Utilize a range of analytical techniques to characterize formulations and assess drug product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemistry, DMPK, process development, and analytical development.
• Prepare comprehensive research reports, technical documentation, and contribute to regulatory submissions.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature, industry trends, and new technologies in pharmaceutical formulation.
• Troubleshoot formulation challenges and implement innovative solutions.
• Contribute to intellectual property generation through patent applications.

• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, post-Ph.D.
• Strong understanding of drug delivery principles, excipient science, and dosage form design.
• Proficiency in formulation characterization techniques and analytical methods (e.g., DSC, TGA, XRD, particle size analysis, dissolution testing).
• Experience with various dosage forms and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent scientific curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage projects effectively, and deliver results within specified timelines in a remote setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings effectively.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to drug product development.
